17 days. That's how long since I've been back on this space, and I swear that it's purely accidental. So much has happened in the past 2 weeks, and exciting changes await me in the coming months. That however is no excuse for me harvest dust on my blog, so here I am to blow some away with some paw-werful news...

That's right, Pawse for a Cause will soon be gracing our shores with a second charity carnival this year, in hopes to further the fight and to raise awareness against animal cruelty. Happening on the 29th of July 2017 at Desa ParkCity, the effort seeks to spotlight the plight of strays nationwide, raise funds for pet non-profits, and also to educate the public on the Animal Welfare Act that is soon taking effect in Malaysia.

With a target of raising up to RM 100,000 from the charity carnival, visitors can expect to be amazed by performances, participate in professional workshops, and even join in the fun in consumer contests for a full carnival fare. Serious adopters may even drop by at an all-day pet adoption drive where they may give the perfect furry friend a forever loving home.

All proceeds will be distributed evenly to deserving pet welfare beneficiaries nationwide in support of a movement in that it is first as an educational platform, secondly a conduit for social and legislative reform, third to provide a sustainable support system for ongoing financial aid and emergency response services, and finally to engine the drive in hopes that one day we will achieve a zero stray population charge.
