Hello peeps, have I got news for you! It's time to clear your calendars because the Kuala Lumpur International Arts Festival or better known as DiverseCity is back! Featuring lineups of performances, recitals, exhibitions, and workshops across Kuala Lumpur city and Greater KL, this years festival brings back what they've achieved in 2015 -  attracting over 60,000 visitors and 1,300 participants from 24 countries! DiverseCity 2016 runs over 5 weeks from the 31st of August to the 2nd of October 2016 and promises an array of performances that's suited for everyone regardless of their age!

Watch out for King of Ghosts!

Keep your eyes peeled for signature performances such as King of Ghosts by British Indian composer ad virtuoso player of the sarod Soumik Datta, Feet on Fire by internationally renowned Flamenco maestro Antonio Vargas and leading Malaysian exponents of Indian Kathak dance and music, as well as La La Luna, a child-friendly mime performance by performer and playwright Wolfe Bowart.

La La Luna for the li...li...little ones!

Not set for these awesome gigs? That's cool too because there's more artsy fartsy stuff like a visit to the Enchanted Forest exhibition by Sandra Lee, featuring a colourful set illustrated by Lee where fairy tales and nursery rhymes with an Asian twist comes to life!

Also spotted: Art pieces by mixed medium artist Zac Lee!

Entry to many of the performances and shows will be free, but you could also grab standard price tickets that range from RM 10 to RM 200 for selected shows. If you're going in a group, you'll also catch tickets with up to 33% discount per person with at least four tickets per purchase while a limited number of deeply discounted tickets are made available for certain performances for senior citizens, full-time students, refugee groups, special needs groups, and registered charities.
